There’s power in being seen without performance — in showing up fully, in your own style, with confidence and presence.
Photography, at its best, is more than documentation. It’s art — a marker of identity, a way to remember not only how it looked, but how it felt. You deserve images that are striking and soulful, creative and alive — photographs to return to again and again, each time reliving the essence of that moment.

Here are some of the publications that have featured my work as a Savannah and Destination photographer.
Mackensey is not only an extremely experienced and skilled photographer but an authentic, safe, and grounded guide for your experience. No matter what the occasion she makes sure that you are comfortable and having a good time while capturing the most beautiful moments! Mackensey has photographed my wedding, embodiment session, and maternity session. Each time I receive photos from her I am in complete awe of the magic she has created. There is no other photographer I would choose to help me preserve my most precious memories. I look forward to continuing to work with Mackensey on future shoots!
Renee, wedding, boudoir, and maternity client
I don’t see weddings or portraits as traditions to follow —
I see them as moments to be felt and remembered.
The ones that stay with me are when people do things their way: when a ceremony feels intentional and intimate, when fashion is daring, when family portraits feel alive and unscripted, or when an editorial-inspired session feels as dynamic and compelling as the people I’m photographing.
My clients are creative, confident, and unconventional. They care about crafting an atmosphere that’s as magnetic as it is meaningful — one that prioritizes presence over performance. They’d rather invest in ritual, fashion, and experience than follow a checklist of traditions.
As a proud queer woman, I believe in photographing love in all its forms. My work is for those who value inclusivity, allyship, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and celebrated. If that’s you, we’ll be the perfect fit.

I'm more than a Savannah and Destination wedding photographer. Here are a few things you should know about me.
next
Aside from photography, I'm a huge Tolkien nerd who loves traveling, spending time under Savannah's beautiful oak trees, diving into spontaneous special interests and watching the occasional trash TV show. You can find me enjoying the company of my wonderful partner, daughter and other favorite people or on long walks through cemeteries with my dog. As much as I love big cities, I hope to live in a peaceful cabin in the woods someday.
In high school I was gifted my first camera before a trip to Europe and came back with so many photos. When I looked through them, I realized that despite seeing some of the most breathtaking natural landscapes and impressive city skylines, the majority of my images were portraits. I knew then that the beauty of the human experience was what inspired my creativity.
Beyond photography, I’m a certified intimacy coach and a volunteer in end-of-life care. Different as they seem, both roles are about presence, connection, and witnessing people in their most human moments. It’s a privilege to be trusted during life’s most intimate, unforgettable chapters.
